Kirkland, Wash—Seattle Study Club, an international network of dental professionals, announced today the appointment of Dr Parag Kachalia as chief clinical officer. He has served as the director of educational development and industry relations for the last two years, where he created information for new learners and leveraged synergies between industry partners and club members. In this new role, Parag will focus on providing club members with clinically relevant content that will help them improve patient care and strengthen their businesses.

Parag is a former tenured associate professor and vice chairman of simulation, technology and research at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. In 2017, he was selected as one of the Top 10 Young Educators in Dentistry in the U.S., and in 2021 and 2022 was selected as one of the 32 most influential people in dentistry. He is a published author and lectures extensively around the world in the areas of adhesive dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, photography, CAD/CAM technology, fixed prosthodontics, erosion, digital diagnostics, and an elevated patient experience. Parag acts as a consultant for many dental materials/technology companies and helps guide product development. As a forward thinker, he is frequently interviewed regarding his vision of dentistry’s future. He maintains a private practice in San Ramon, Calif., focused on restorative dentistry.
