Seattle Study Club is an international network of dental professionals interested in furthering their knowledge and providing excellent care. We have more than 250 dental study clubs in our network located all over the world. Visit here to see a map of our clubs.

Each study club meets regularly for interactive educational programs, discussion on the latest developments in dentistry, and presentations by world-renowned clinical speakers. These meetings provide a forum for each member doctor to discuss and plan cases by drawing on the collective knowledge of the entire group.

Education and collaboration

Our study clubs are universities without walls, with a clear focus on providing quality education accessible to any practitioner. Our goal is to help members improve their practices, connect with their community, and incorporate the newest techniques and tools into the way they do dentistry. We provide a carefully cultivated toolbox to help club directors manage their study clubs, while also helping those looking to join an existing club.

We work every day to help our members strengthen their practices, enhance relationships with peers, and increase impact on the dental community. We gather dozens of new ideas every year from across the cutting edge of dentistry to help our members accomplish their goals. Our study clubs offer educational experiences that exceed the highest expectations of excellence.

Whether you’re completing your degree in dentistry or growing your practice, the Seattle Study Club network has something for everyone.

Our Study Clubs are Built Around Three Fundamental Principles

The first is the philosophy that neither ideal learning nor ideal dentistry can be attained by a simple exposure to various techniques and treatment modalities. The most beneficial knowledge and treatment results from total case management—an appreciation for the big picture and an understanding of the role each technique and treatment plays in that picture.

The second principle is that we learn more by participation and clinical interaction than by observation. Through hands-on experience in clinical sessions, club members enhance their treatment planning skills and learn how to bring an expert touch to the type of cases they treat every day.

The third principle is the idea that learning with and from one’s peers in a structured and supportive environment is the most effective way to master the challenges posed by the dental profession. Our study clubs provide a forum for a comprehensive curriculum incorporating all aspects of clinical, didactic and academic learning.

Clinicians within the Seattle Study Club organization are motivated to learn more and achieve a higher level of comprehensive care for their patients. Each study club provides much more than just continuing education for dentists—we cultivate knowledge, understanding, collaboration and camaraderie, and together we continue to impact the way dentistry is practiced worldwide.

There are more than 250 Seattle Study Club affiliates around the world—each one dedicated to cultivating excellence in comprehensive dentistry. To find one in your area, visit here to complete this brief form and we’ll connect you with the closest club for you.
